This year, the Idle Juniors Summer tournament will be held over the weekend of 5th and 6th July 2008 at Apperley Bridge Playing Fields.
In previous years our tournament has been a huge success and has built an excellent reputation of providing a well managed event, popular with both players and supporters. Last year over 90 teams played in the tournament. The competition is always fierce but tempered with a good measure of sportsmanship and humour.
This is a fully F.A. sanctioned event and we are a F.A. Charter Standard Club.
The safety of participants is always our foremost priority. Apperley Bridge playing fields provide an enclosed area away from main roads. All Idle Junior Managers and Coaches have F.A. coaching qualifications at level 1 or higher which includes first aid & child protection. First Aid facilities are provided with qualified personnel available on each day. It is the responsibility of visiting parents and team officials to ensure your children and players are supervised at all times.
 We also have the services of Rayner Photo to take team and action shots during the day.
Excellent food and drink will be available on both days at reasonable prices.
Plenty of on-site parking is available.
Teams of all abilities are invited to participate but places are limited and will be offered on a first-come-first served basis. The entry fee for the tournament has been held for a number of years at £20.00 per team. You may enter up to 2 teams in each age group which will be placed in A and B leagues.

Rules and confirmation of registration times will be sent out two weeks before the tournament to all teams entered.
Places in the tournament are limited and can only confirmed on receipt of payment.
