After winning the league the previous week,Idle struggle to raise a team over the easter weekend. With players poorly, injured and on holiday, only seven players turned up for kick off time, and one more 15mins into the game. Undercliff with a reputation of being very physical and hard did not disappoint, and with their manager refereeing, and Undercliff needing 3 points to finish 2ND in the league, behind IDLE JUNIORS.Undercliff won 3-1,James Bennett scored for Idle.

Idle Juniors under 11's squander many chances, but still win 7-1 and remane unbeaten and top of the league. Thomas Bales scores 5 to make it 9 goals in 5 games. Dale Chadwick and a own goal make it a easy Sunday morning for Idle Juniors.

Daniel Scott starts after scoring 4 in last weeks game against Myrtle Park, and scores again to make it 5 in 2.Thomas Bales x1 James Bennett x 2 and Tom Johnson with a hat-trick ease Idle to a 7-0 win. Jordan Hizzett,Jamie Sugden and Jake Kumar help goalkeeper Sam Johnson keep a clean sheet.Idle remain unbeaten in the league.

After many missed chances in the first half, Idle come off at half time only 1-0 up.Subsitute Daniel Scott starts the second half and scores 4 goals,Thomas Bales,Thomas Dolby and Dale Chadwick all score to make it a easy 7-0 victory.

Idle win 5-0 in a easier game than expected.Goals from Tom Johnson,Thomas Bales,Dale Chadwick and two from James Bennett keep Idle unbeaten in the league.Some good early defending by Jamie Sugden and Jordan Hizzett helped Idle in their win over Cowling.

Manager Roger Bennett was away for this weekend, leaving coach Tibor in charge, with a very difficult away game against second placed Horsforth. Thomas Bales and James Bennett score to put Idle 2-0 up, but Horsforth underline their league position and pull 2 goals back. Idle stay top of the league.

Idle score two late goals in a very evenly matched game. Subsitute Dale Chadwick comes on, and scores 2 goals in the last 5 minites. Wilsden pull one straight back, and put Idle under pressure untill the final whistle. Idle hold out with some excellent defending by the whole team.

Idle continue there impressive start to the season with a 8-1 home win against Bolton Woods. New signing Thomas Bales comes on in the second half and scores a hat-trick. Midfielders Tom Johnson and James Bennett grab a couple each, and new keeper Sam Johnson has a quite morning thanks to some good defending by Jordan Hizzitt and Jamie Sugden.

Sutton B -Vs- Under 11's - Away 03 Oct 2004 Kick-off 10:30 Won: nil - 11

Idle romp to a easy 11-0 victory. Jordan Irons, goalie for last year and this, plays his last game for Idle juniors. (he's moving to Ireland, and says its too far to travel each week???) Jordan played in goals for the first half, then played up front, grabbing 4 goals. Dale Chadwick scores 4 more, making it 7 in two. Sub Sam Johnson go's in goals for second half. Jamie Sugden who had never played in a league team before joining Idle Juniors this season, has made an impressive start in the first 3 games Roger, Tibo, all the players and parents wish Jordan good luck, and all the best with his move to Ireland.

Dale Chadwick scores a hat-trick, and Sam Johnson makes his debut in goals. Sam is a year younger than the rest of the team, and made some good saves.James Bennett grabs his second double in as many games.(1xpen). Everybody played well,and Idle deserved their 7-2 win.
